If you like to take an alcoholic beverage every now and then, keep your cash at home if you intend to do your consuming in a brick and mortar casino. I am not joking. clean out your handbag, your wallet, and leave all cash, bank cards and cheques at home. Take whatever money you are planning to use on alcohol, tips and whatever loose coins you intend to lose and leave the rest behind.

Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You may well discover a win after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that story because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink and wager. The 2 just don’t mix.

Leaving your money at home is a little excessive, however preventative measures for drastic behavior is relative and necessary. If you play to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to throw away your cash without a worry, then consume all the no cost alcohol your stomach can handle, but don’t take credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the combination of chasing losses after your drunk as a skunk brain throws away everything!
