You stake ten dollars once again on the pass line and the shooter makes a comeout roll one more time. This time a 3 is rolled (the gambler "craps out"). You lose your ten dollars pass line bet.

You wager another 10 dollars and the shooter makes his 3rd comeout roll (keep in mind, each shooter continues to roll until he sevens out after making a point). This time a four is rolled – one of the place numbers or "points". You now want to take an odds stake, so you place ten dollars specifically behind your pass line bet to declare you are taking the odds. The shooter advances to roll the dice until a four is rolled (the point is made), at which time you win ten dollars on your pass line wager, and $20 in cash on your odds bet (remember, a four is paid at two to 1 odds), for a total win of $30. Take your chips off the table and prepare to bet again.

Still, if a 7 is rolled in advance of the point # (in this case, before the 4), you lose both your 10 dollars pass line play and your ten dollars odds stake.

And that is all there is to it! You almost inconceivably make you pass line play, take odds if a point is rolled on the comeout, and then wait for either the point or a seven to be rolled. Ignore all the other confusion and sucker plays. Your have the best wager in the casino and are gaming carefully.

VITAL NOTES ABOUT ODDS PLAYS

Odds bets can be made any time after a comeout point is rolled. You do not have to make them right away . Even so, you’d be absurd not to make an odds bet as soon as possible because it’s the best play on the table. On the other hand, you are allowedto make, withdraw, or reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeout and just before a 7 is rolled.

When you win an odds wager, ensure to take your chips off the table. Under other conditions, they are considered to be compulsorily "off" on the next comeout and will not count as another odds stake unless you distinctly tell the dealer that you want them to be "working". Even so, in a fast moving and loud game, your appeal might just not be heard, thus it is much better to almost inconceivably take your earnings off the table and bet one more time with the next comeout.
