Craps Guidelines and Strategy
Craps
Craps seems like a hard to learn game, and it certainly can be, however you don’t have to understand all of the rules to play it well and receive a fair return. If you stay with the general wagers with a very low casino edge and don’t wager when you are not assured what it’s you are wagering on and its odds.
By wagering on the pass line and purchasing odds you can bet with virtually no house advantage. This almost makes the saying ‘betting’ invalid if you think it over.
Pass Line
The contest begins by making a wager on either Pass or Don’t Pass prior to the Come Out throw. If a seven or 11 is tossed 1st you win and 2, 3, or twelve will result in you loosing if you place a bet on pass. The converse is valid if you wager on Do not Pass. With the exception of 12 is a tie if you bet Do not Pass. Almost all gamblers wagers on Pass, so if you choose Don’t Pass, don’t attract attention to yourself, particularly if you win. If you succeed that means everyone else just loss, and are not going to like any showing off. Should any number other than 2, three, 7, 11 or twelve be tossed first, that number is the point. Do not wager on the Pass line after the Come Out throw, it is allowed, but the odds are against you.
Purchasing the Odds
In order to take advantage of the wager with virtually no casino advantage, you have to initially place a bet on the Pass Line. Next you can bet a multiple (based on the betting house) of your Pass wager that the point will be tossed prior to a 7. dependent on the number of the point, you can come away with up to 2:1.
Wagering along these basic lines will provide you with a real chance of coming out a winner. Add the excitement that the craps always seems to deliver and the only way to be deprived of it is not to compete.
